Isaac's Valentine

Isaac and I were making Valentine's Day cookies yesterday. He cut out a heart-shaped one and covered it mostly in sparkly red sprinkles. "This one is for Daddy," he said. He cut another heart-shaped cookie and covered it in mostly in multi-colored dots. "This one is for you, Mommy," he said.

And then, with the last of the dough, he made a round cookie, bigger than all the rest, shaping by hand. He piled it high with sprinkles of every kind.



"This one is special for Cammy," he said.
