Sooooo . . . has anyone reading this ever been a delegate to the Missouri State Democratic Convention before?
Because it would appear that, as of tonight, I am one. And I could use some advice.

How cool is that!?! I don't have any helpful advice for you, but I definitely have a high five waiting (though with my coordination, I'm an awkward high-fiver, so you might want to just pass on that) the next time I see you.
You went? Badass! I saw a link to the information, maybe on Pub Def, and Chris and I were going to go, but I had a writer's meeting for this blog I write for at 8, along with Lost being on, so we didn't end up going.
You should blog about that process; I'm interested to know what it was like.
Wow ... how does one catch that ??? Any chance you can be promoted to super delegate? So .. the fate of the world lies in your hands now .. no pressure .. no pressure ... go and vote for McCain! :D
yeas .. please tell us all about the experience ... see what you get for political blogging! Civic Duty !
Well, Peter, as of right now I am only a state delegate. That means I am going to the state convention for sure, but once I'm at the state convention, I'll have to compete for a spot at the Democratic National Convention. I mean, if I want to compete.
Which I do.
Apparently, this is the way one gains access to the secretive world of delegates:
1.) Find your caucus location. 2.) Show up. 3.) Give a damn.

I have not personally experienced this but I think this advice would apply in this situation:
1. Wear clean underwear
2. Remember your manners
3. Stand up straight
4. Only have one glass of wine
Actually, these tips work in most any situation.
How cool is that?!? You will for sure have to fill us in on this experience!
Do what's right.
Congrats! I think that sounds very exciting and that you will know exactly what to do!
i can't wait to hear more about this. . . you totally rock my world
